Italia Conti’s BA (Hons) Acting course combines the advantages of a specialist vocational drama training with the facilities and benefits available to students at a leading university. LSBU is one of the country’s major providers of vocational degrees and is ranked 7th in the country for graduate salaries and employability.

All students enrolling on this course automatically become full-time undergraduate members of London South Bank University. This entitles them to make use of all general university facilities, including the Union, Sports Hall, Library, Resource Centre and Halls of Residence, and to take advantage of discounts and perks offered by the NUS. The university is situated 15-20 minutes away by underground, and is in the same travel zone as the Academy.

We believe that conservatoire based training within higher education offers the best environment in which to prepare actors for successful careers. Our graduates leave with the artistic resources and industry knowledge necessary to succeed but they also possess essential reflective skills, to evaluate their work and ultimately shape and develop the future of the art form itself. The Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) funds the course.
